South Australia is known as the festival state of Australia. And, Adelaide is the main city of the region. It is the city with highest number of restaurants per person than any other state in Oz. With an atmosphere that is favourable for all kinds of sporting and fun activities make Adelaide a pleasurable spot to visit.
Adelaide Entertainment Centre: This huge and contemporary centre is Adelaide's leading entertainment hub. The centre is known to host world famous acts, international rock bands, musical shows and even theatre performances. It also has the largest auditorium in South Australia with a capacity to hold 11,000 people.
Pubs and Bars: The central place of the city is filled with 91 different bars and clubs. PJ O’ Briens and Finn McCool's, the “Irish” pubs are a hot favourite in Adelaide. The wonderful temperate climate of the city has made many pubs open beer gardens outdoors where live bands perform on weekends. Adelaide’s executives are seen after a busy day at the restaurants, which are Asian as well as European in their moods, at Rundle Street and North Terrace. Casino: The prestigious Railway Buildings holds the only casino of Adelaide that is located in the centrally located CBD area – the Skycity Casino. This casino offers over 90 game tables and almost 950 Pokie machines. You can pick your choice from the eight trendy and funky or the traditional and classy bars and restaurants. Live entertainment programmes are organised in the Loco or the Balcony Bar.
Night life: This city has always been famous for its lively nightlife. Hindley Street strip is popular for the adult nightclubs. Most of the Adelaide clubs are extremely popular among youths.
